About
Revact Cuba is the first independent streetwear brand founded and run entirely by Cubans. The brand started with the idea of turning the image of Che Guevara on its head. For most Cubans, Che isn’t a hero; he’s a symbol of oppression and takeover. That’s why, instead of Che, we use the wolf as our icon. The wolf represents the irony of a country and so-called “revolutionaries” who claim to be anti-imperialist while falling under Soviet control.
The face of the wolf stands for Cubans who speak out against the hypocrisy of the Cuban state. Every design is made to give dictators and autocrats a taste of their own medicine, turning propaganda into wearable art, inspired by American streetwear.
